It's been a long-time dream of mine to illustrate kids' books. So when my friend/fellow creative Cory Heimann contacted me about making one I was ecstatic! We launched a Kickstarter project in May for Light of the Saints – an interactive children's book that reveals details about the lives of the saints when you shine a flashlight behind the pages. Much to our delight, the project was fully funded in under 8 hours, and we've added some really fun stretch goals so we can print double our original goal. The hope is that we can make a whole series out of this concept, as light is such a pertinent and powerful theme for us as Catholics!
